Tools Needed: 

Hammer and punch.
You can also use a nail as shown. If you grind the point off the nail it makes it a little easier to tap the pin out.
 
 
 
The following picture is a typical Mag trigger pin, notice the knurled head.
 
 
 
The following picture is the correct direction to tap the pin out of the frame.
 
 
 
To remove the pin, place your frame on a block of wood with the pin hanging off the edge and begin taping on the pin. Stop after the pin just starts to move, make sure the "knurled head" is coming out of the frame.
 
If it's the "smooth" side, turn the frame over and start again. It does not take very much force to remove the pin. Use light but solid taps to get the pin going. Once the "knurled" head has cleared the frame the pin can be removed with your fingers.
 
Do not tap the knurled head through the frame; the knurled head should be first end to exit the frame.
